A machine made Persian style area rug. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of cream, black, deep red and taupe that sits on top of a black field. The field is populated by floral patterns and vines in a complementary palette with a spandrel to each corner in a matching palette. The field is surrounded by a compound resolved border that features a floral and turtle pattern throughout with a wool fringe to either end. The rug is not marked.
