Item Details

A vintage double-pedestal dining table and a group of eight chairs by American Furniture Co. Inc. The walnut-finished, oval shaped table features scrolled and molded edges. It comes with two extra leaves and can seat up to eight. The top rests on a pair of round, heavy pedestals, each of which have three legs. Also included are two armchairs and six side chairs. The frames have caned backs, cushioned seats, and square tapered legs. The contoured seat cushions are covered in a subtle ivory striped fabric, with piped edges. The underside of one chair is marked ‘Made By American Furniture Co., Inc. / Martinsville, VA / DBA American of Martinsville’.
