A vintage Anton Pieck wooden handbag. This vintage octagonal wooden handbag features a brown Lucite handle with metal hardware, kissing clasp with round opalescent orb accents with a decoupaged street scene. Purse has a hinged top that opens to green felt lined interior with small mirror to the underside of lid and sits on round ball metal feet. Purse has an in plate signature n the side. Anton Franciscus Pieck (1895 – 1987) was a Dutch painter and graphic artist known for his nostalgic and fairy tale-like characters.
