Vintage Coiled Sweetgrass Basket and Art Pottery

A colorful Carolina coiled sweetgrass basket, with an eclectic mix of art pottery. The basket featured is unsigned, and comprised of natural color sweetgrasses with dyed sections in a palette of greenish-blue and purple. The pottery mix includes three miniature, vintage salt glazed crocks marked to the verso with a ‘cross’ maker’s mark; a blue and white pottery garlic baker; a surrealist style coffee mug, having a heart and horizontal line mark within a cartouche to the bottom; a small speckled blue and white urn-shaped vessel; a Julian Falk yellow-ware bowl with brown and blue floral accents; a green glazed pot; a small blueberry pitcher; and a lidded blue and white pottery crock.
