An antique Desk-Table by Cadillac Cabinet Co. of Detroit. The wooden, walnut-stained frame features a rectangular top above a single drawer with turned knobs. The drawer pulls out to reveal a hinged writing surface with a pen groove and an inkwell, which lifts up to reveal a shallow storage well. The desk rises on four square legs joined by a stretcher shelf. The drawer interior retains a decal for ‘Cadillac / Desk-Table / Cadillac Cabinet Co. / Detroit, Michigan.’ with patent dates ranging from ‘Jany. 1906’ to ‘Oct. 1908’.
