An ornate hand-knotted Kashmir-style wool area rug. It has a dense field of floral sprays and medallions in olive green and off white hues. The main border has an elaborate Herati motif with large Boteh elements in the field colors. The primary border is framed by crisp floral and foliate guard borders in the field colors on a white ground. It has decorative kilim skirts to each and and fine, soft hand-tied wool warp fringe to each end.
