An original signed oil painting titled The Sage Reclaims The Land by listed artist James Emery Greer (American, 1948-1990). The painting is rendered in a somewhat thick impasto style, depicting a grand vista of high craggy mountain peaks descending to pine and aspen covered slopes with a small wooden cabin amidst sparse fir trees and sagebrush near Marble, Colorado. The painting is signed ‘James Emery Greer’ to the lower right corner and is presented in a gilded wood frame with a linen fillet.
