A pair of limited edition offset lithographs of historic Cincinnati scenes after original color lithographs by Otto Onken (1815 – 1860). Third Street Between Main and Vine depicts a busy city street lined with multi-storey buildings. Public Landing shows a line of riverboats docked along the Ohio River across from a line of commercial buildings. Both prints, from the collection of the Cincinnati Historical Society, are each numbered 280 in an edition of 1,000. Each is mounted under glass with white and black double mats in identical gilt wood frames that are wired for framing. A Certificate of Authenticity including information about the artist is attached to the verso of each frame.
Condition
- residue on the outside of the glass; minor scratches to frames.
Dimensions
- measurements of one frame; image size is approximately 12.25" W x 8.75" H; frames are the same size.
