After Philip Aziz Screenprint "Apotheosis of a Pine Tree"

An unframed vintage screenprint after the egg tempera-en-gesso and gold leaf work titled Apotheosis of a Pine Tree by Philip Aziz (Canadian, 1923-2009). Aziz was well-known for his modernist work in egg tempera-en-gesso panel, a traditionally Renaissance technique. This work depicts a modernist stylized topmost branch, or ‘candle,’ of a pine tree. It is marked ‘1976 Copyright New York Graphic Society’ to the bottom center, and it is signed in the print and dated ‘P. Aziz ’68’ to the lower right.

Condition

Some soiling at very bottom from previous frame.
