Antique Copeland Spode and Coalport China Sets
Item Details
A pairing of antique Copeland Spode and Coalport china sets. Each set features a dark blue and orange Asian inspired pattern.The Copeland set includes six kidney shaped dishes. On the undersides, along with a maker’s mark, the pieces have a retailer’s mark ‘Gilman Collamore 5th Ave. & 30th Street New York’, dating the retailers acquisition of the pieces between 1890 – 1920. The Coalport pieces include two desert plates, two cups, and seven shallow bowls. Each piece is marked on the underside with a version of the maker’s mark used between 1881- 1891.
Condition
- gold gilt on rim of plates is wearing off on some. One small plate is cracked.
