Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Tray
Item Details
A Victorian sterling silver tray. The tray has an ornately scrolled edge. The center of the tray has a crest engraved on it. On the back of the tray, there is an inscription of, ‘H.A.I. 1841’. The tray additionally features London hallmarks including an indiscernible maker’s mark, the lion passant, the uncrowned leopard, the Queen Victoria duty mark and the date mark for 1841. The weight is 43.785 ozt.
Condition
the back of tray is engraved “H.A.I.” 1844. Tarnish and surface scratches including various characters scratched onto the verso.
