A whimsical painted Lane cedar chest. This cedar chest from Lane features a rounded hinged top that has been hand painted with an image of a white owl sitting on a branch, matchbook walnut veneer to the front, scalloped apron, and bracket feet. The chest opens to display a storage tray with two divided sections and is lined in cedar. The piece is marked on the interior.
