After Utagawa Hiroshige Woodblock Print

A posthumous ukiyo-e woodblock print after Ōmi Province: Lake Biwa, Ishiyama Temple (近江: 琵琶湖, 石山寺) from the series Famous Places in the Sixty-Odd Provinces (六十余州名所図絵) after Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川 広重, 1797-1858). This print, printed between 1870 – 1890, depicts a mountainside scene and signed in-plate to the lower right margin with the series and print titles printed within cartouches in the upper right. The print is presented framed, matted, and behind glass.
