A hand-knotted Persian Baluch pictorial area rug. The rug presents a stepped rectangular medallion in shades of burnt umber and white with rust colored geometric accents. The medallion rests on an elongated lozenge shaped field with dark brown spandrels. Two key-style minor borders flank a principal running water border. Overcast edges and cotton warp fringe finish the rug.
