Jerusalem "Jewish Family Bible" with Ornate Silver Plated Binding

A vintage illustrated Jewish Family Bible, published by Jerusalem Bible Publishing Co. Ltd., featuring a binding clad in ornate silver plated metal with stones. The Bible was printed in Jerusalem, Israel by Hamadpis Liphshitz Press, and is translated in English. A notation in the book says it is a ‘reduced facsimile of the Jewish Family Bible issued in London in 5645-1884, edited by the late Dr. M. Freidlander’. The highly ornate silver plated hinged covers feature bezel set green and turquoise colored cabochons, with colored enamel.
