A vintage Chippendale style mahogany executive desk by Sligh with chair. This set features a rectangular top desk with leather inlay and gold tone detail with a beveled edge over a slender drawer over the knee hole with a solid backing panel flanked by three drawers with brass tone batwing plates and bail handles terminating on a plinth base. This piece is marked ‘Sligh Holland Michigan’ to a drawer interior. Also includes a chair with wooden trim and camelback style crest rail with a red leather upholstered back and nailhead trim and upholstered seat flanked by serpentine armrests rising on a post with a trestle base terminating on casters.
