Chinese Gold-Plated Reproduction "King of Na" Seal

A Chinese decorative reproduction ‘King of Na’ gold-plated seal stamp with five character mark ‘漢委奴國王’. The five characters appearing on the seal identify it as the seal of the King of the Na state of the Wa (Japan). This item is based on the original seal (now in the collection of the Fukuoka City Museum in Fukuoka, Japan) discovered in the year 1784 on Shikanoshima Island in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The seal is believed to have been cast in China and given to Emperor Guangwu of Han from a diplomatic official visiting from Japan in the year 57 CE.
The seal comes in a wooden box. Tested gold-plated base metal.
