Ansel Adams Reproduction Photographic Print "Fiat Lux"

Item Details

A reproduction photographic poster print after an original 1966 image captured by American photographer and environmentalist Ansel Adams (1902 – 1984), titled Redwoods, Founders Grove. The image was shot on the University of California campus as part of a series of 1960s black-and-white photographs resulting in a vast collection named “Fiat Lux” or “Let there be light”, after the university’s motto. Adams has been known to wait hours, even days, in order to capture the perfect light. This poster arrives professionally framed and matted behind glass with a sawtooth hanger paper dust jacket to the reverse.
