Boxed Collection of Miniature Grand Tour Intagliios
Item Details
A wooden box comprised of Grand Tour intaglios of Greek gods, in the manner of the Pichler lineage of gem carvers. The box is comprised of four trays nested inside. Each tray features an array of rounded small plaster molds that are framed by a thin grey band. The molds depict different scenes or imagery associated with Greek gods in action as well as miniature versions of bust sculptures. Each mold is attached to the paper lined wood tray it is presented in. Numbers are marked on the exterior of the box designating each tray nested inside.
Condition
good. Minor scratches to box, some molds may be loose.
