Pair of Chinese Porcelain Vases
Item Details
A pair of matching Chinese porcelain vases. The white porcelain vases have a flared lip, narrow neck and oval shaped shoulders and body. The lip of the vase is decorated with a Yuwen meanders, and the neck is accented with a repeating black design on a robin egg blue background. A black and white hexagon pattern decorated the shoulder of the vase. The geometric background is interrupted by red lotus flowers. On the body of the vase is a decorated with a transfer bird and flower scene which is accented with hand painted detail. The background of the body of vase mimics that of the background found on the neck. The undersides are stamped with a Yongzheng reign mark, however, the pair was likely produced in the 20th century.
Condition
On one of the vases, you can see where the transferred image is overlapped.
