Antique Renaissance Revival Corner Chair

Item Details

An antique corner chair. This Renaissance Revival chair features a dark stain on the oak frame and a curved crest rail with a carved bust and acanthus leaves. The chair has carved and pierced splats with a foliate design and profile view accents between the three arm supports. The apron features a carved inverted scroll design while the fluted turned legs end in tapered feet. The chair has been reupholstered in a white fabric with a blue floral design. The chair is not marked.
