A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai area rug. The rug features a heavily populated pattern of floral palmettes enclosed in geometric shapes in a palette of cream, pink, red, teal and lavender that sits on top of a black field. The field is surrounded by a compound resolved border that features a carnation border throughout in a complementary palette with a wool fringe to either end. The rug is tagged to the back.
