Bottles From the Taittinger Collection Series

A collection of six champagne bottles from the Taittinger Collection Series. This group includes a 1978 bottle with art by Victor Vasarely, a 1981 bottle with art by Arman, 1982 bottle with art by André Masson, a 1983 bottle with art by Vieira da Silva, a 1985 bottle with art done by Roy Lichtenstein,and a 1988 bottle with art by Roberto Matta. Each one of the prints that the bottle is wrapped in is signed in plate in varying positions on the bottle. A few still retain their neck tags with information about the artist whose work is featured on the bottle. This collector series was begun in 1983 for a 1978 vintage. The company has only produced fourteen of these special issues with the last one being in 2008.

Condition

- have original boxes, three bottles are missing caps, two are missing tags.
