A hand-knotted Persian area rug. The rug features a lattice pattern across the field of Memling style guls in a palette of white, green, yellow, and orange that sit on top of a deep red field. The field is surrounded by a compound resolved border that features a pattern of Ak Nagysch guls in bright yellow and cream with a wool fringe at either end. The rug is tagged to the back.
