Vintage Chinese Embroidered Silk Textile Art
Item Details
A pair of vintage hand-stitched Chinese silk textile pieces. Each features delicately embroidered scenes of homes and nature in muted hues of blue, brown, pink, green and red. Both pieces are bordered in patterned brocade fabric. Each is presented under clear acrylic in gold tone wooden frames with hanging wires to the verso.
Condition
- to Fair; some surface wear, discoloration and fading with age, especially visible to borders; largest piece has minor stains to fabric; significant surface scratching and chipping to finish of frames; edge wear to frames; staining and water damage to paper backings of both frames.
