Chinese Cupronickel Flagon

Item Details

A Chinese cupronickel flagon. The silver metal vessel was created using a slip mold. On the center of the body of the vessel is a dragon in a circle medallion, the dragon motif is repeated on the handle and the spout. The lid of the pot is removable with a dog shaped knob. The underside is stamped with a Qianlong reign mark, however, the piece was made in the 20th century.
