A hand-painted porcelain figurine, by A. Borsato. The figurine depicts a young, barefooted boy apprentice in discussion with the master shoemaker. It has protective felt on the bottom, which has been cut away to reveal the maker’s mark on the underside, ‘A Borsato – Made In Italy’. The underside is also labeled ‘Porcellane e Gresd Arle – A. Borsato – Milano – Made in Italy’.
