A hand-painted Japanese folding screen. The four-panel room divider features an ink drawing on gold tone paper depicting a mountainous landscape scene. The image is bordered in gold tone floral silk brocade fabric and set in a black wooden frame with decorative brass tone trim to the corners. The screen verso is lined in patterned fabric and includes wire hangers to each end panel. The piece includes a label marked ‘Japan’.
