An antique 1881 hand painted oyster plate by Union Porcelain Works. The plate colorful plate features a light pink background with four welled oyster sections surrounded by a sea-life motif. The backside of the plate is stamped ‘UPW, Pat. Jan 4 -1881’ in black and ‘Union Porcelain Works, Greenpoint, NY’ in yellow.
