A mixed media painting on paper of a sailboat by artist Howard Marley. This impressionist style painting depicts a coastal scene of a lone, single-masted sailboat, which contains a ‘K’ on its sail, floating on calm waters before a rocky cliffside. An artist signature and date (2006) are seen to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat affixed with a label for the Kessler Sailing Club. This is placed in a black wooden frame with a gold inlay border, hanging brackets and a handwritten inscription to the verso.
