After Vernet and Napoletano Offset Lithographs

A selection of two offset lithographs on paperboard after listed artists Claude-Joseph Vernet (1714 – 1789) and Filippo Napoletano (1589 – 1629). The first work is titled Picnic on the Grass and was originally painted by Filippo Napoletano in 1619. The second work is titled A Sporting Contest on the Tiber at Rome and was originally painted by Claude-Joseph Vernet in 1750. Both pieces are unsigned and presented behind mats, in wood frames with sawtooth hangers for hanging display.

Condition

- both pieces are stained; residue to prints, mats and frames; abrasions to both mats; scruffing, chipping and scratching to finish of frames.

19.75" W x 16.75" H x 1.5" D

- measures frame; visible image measures 11.75" W x 8.75" H; both same size.
