Chinese Embroidered Silk Wall Hanging of Birds and Flowers

A Chinese embroidered silk wall hanging by an anonymous artist. On a champagne silk ground, this depicts two birds with elaborate long tail feathers amongst weeping branches and purple blossoms and butterflies fly around. This is bordered by a blossomed foliate frame. This work has open side though which a rod can be inserted for hanging.

Condition

- lightly wrinkled; a few minor stains to edges; minor fraying to lower right.
