Item Details
A hand-knotted Tibetan throne cover. It features a roughly octagonal center medallion in red-orange, amber, hunter green, black and shades of blue.on the black field. The surrounding field is populated with abstract elements in contrasting colors, framed by a pale blue border. A main border in ivory feature cloud band elements with flowerheads and vase forms. It has been attached to a red fabric hem, with a blue fabric backing. Tagged to reverse; made in Tibet.
