Item Details
An acrylic painting on canvas by listed artist Irma Cavat (1928-2002), titled Making the Scene. This painting depicts various people adorned in vibrant, circa 1960’s clothing presented in a diagonal composition in various portraiture poses. They fade into pools of pigment to the background. An artist signature is found to the lower left corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire and printed information from The Arwin Galleries affixed to the verso, which lists the date as 1967.
