Item Details
A handwoven Indian dhurrie runner. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, pink, and blue. It features a minimalist design that presents three floral diamond medallions and floral corner treatments over an ivory field, the field framed by two cerulean border strips and an ivory outer guard. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with very short kilim skirts and ivory wool warp fringe. The rug is marked on the reverse. A similar rug is offered in lot 17LOU106-006.
