A set of handwoven Turkish kilim pillow covers. Included are three pillow covers made made of 100% wool, made in Turkey by Old Kilim. The set features a pink, white and chocolate striped flat weave cover, and a bold woven hand-knotted cover featuring hooked medallions in red and ochre on an abrashed blue and steel grey field. It has elements of the original rug border to one side, with a figural chicken or rooster in the field. Also included is a detailed cover featuring octagonal hooked medallions, hooked forms and a portion of ‘soldier’ guard borders and ‘x’ forms, all in a palette of indigo, crimson, ivory, pale blue and madder red. Each pillow dover has a black fabric back with a zippered closure and tag of origin. Made in Turkey.
