A lithograph after Les Joies du Foyer, originally painted by listed artist Paul Eugene Mesples (born 1849). This print on paper depicts a group of ballerinas stretching and practicing over a wall-mounted bar. An in plate signature is found to the lower left corner of the composition. To the lower margins is a printed title and artist crediting. The print is presented under glass beneath a marbled, gold tone mat in a stained and gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. Also included is a printout of the piece with handwritten information about it underneath.

Condition

- scattered foxing and stains to backing paper and print margins; loss to paper liner in frame to top right; wear to frame finish at edges and corners.
