Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by a Russian artist. This depicts two tall haystacks and a well in the foreground, as a figure, carrying two buckets, trudges back through the snow. A row of pitched roof houses rise against the white winter sky on the crest of the hill. It is initialed in the bottom right corner with two Cyrillic letters, however no clear artist attribution could be made. This work is presented in a molded wooden frame that is wired for hanging.
