A handwoven floral wool dhurrie. This Indian flatweave rug is woven in a palette of black, ivory, shades of pink, and shades of blue. Its field contains six square panels, each featuring a stylized, geometric rose with leaves and buds over a black field. Framing the field are five borders. Edges are overcast on all sides. The rug is marked on the reverse.
