A handwoven floral wool dhurrie. This Indian flatweave rug is rendered in a palette of cream and forest green. It features floral central medallion and corner treatments over a cream-colored field. The field is framed by periwinkle guard strips and a major border in green with a stylized, rectilinear pattern of flowers and vines. Edges are overcast, the rug finishing in short kilim skirts and knotted ivory wool warp fringe. It is marked on the reverse.
