Antique Russian Brass Samovar

Item Details

An antique Russian samovar, circa 19th century. This piece is constructed from brass, and it features a pierced stove pipe over a drum-shaped barrel with drop handles on the right and left sides. At the front of the barrel is a maker’s mark with Cyrillic writing over the spigot with a round wooden knob attached. This samovar stands on a square base with bracket feet.

Condition

Consistent with age; left handle has been repaired
