A hand-knotted carved Chinese area rug. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of sage green, cream, deep red, and orange that sits on top of a light pink field. The field is populated by vines and floral palmettes in a complementary palette and is enclosed by a compound resolved border. The border features a pattern of florals and vines in a matching cream and pink palette with a wool fringe to either end.
