Hand-Knotted Indian Wool Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indian wool runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of camel, crimson, and forest green. It features a stylized interpretation of a Persian vase design with vases, leaves, vines, and sprays of geometrically rendered flowers over a camel-colored field. A single border contains meandering vines and florets over camel. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with short kilim skirts and ivory cotton warp fringe. The rug is tagged on the reverse.
