1969 Signed First Edition "The Godfather" by Mario Puzo

A signed first edition copy, with dust jacket, of The Godfather by Mario Puzo, published by G.P. Putnam & Sons, New York. The book is quarter bound in black with white cloth covered board featuring a gilt stamped illustration of a hand holding the strings of a marionette. The title, author, and publisher are gilt on the spine. The work is complete with the original dust jacket with the $6.95 price, ‘6903’ printing code, and appropriate reviews. The front free endpaper is signed ‘To J+L, Best Wishes, Mario’ alongside a small drawing of a revolver.
