A 14K yellow gold mosaic gemstone inlay pendant by contemporary Navajo artist, Ray Tracey. Renowned Artist, Ray Tracey is known for his contemporary designs that also embrace the old traditions of Native American jewelry. This two-sided, split pendant depicts a female Yei, or Yeibichai, a supernatural figure of Navajo culture. One side depicts Yei’s face, housing mosaic inlay of lapis lazuli, opal, and onyx. The opposite side depicts another Yei’s face in gold with textured accents, and is set with dyed howlite inlay for her eyes and mouth. The pendant hangs on a 14K yellow gold snake chain with a gold rondelle bead accent strung to each side of the pendant.
