An L. Posey Ute Mountain Pottery bowl. This Native American inspired piece The has a round body and curved rim. The body is red clay with a light pink finish and with narrow bands of color ranging from orange to black. The Native American inspired designs in white are drawn between the black bands. The piece is marked to the underside ‘L.Posey, UTE, USA.’ The Ute Mountain Reservation is located near Mesa Verde National Park outside of Cortez, Colorado.
