An oil painting on canvas board of portraiture by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (1939 – 2010). This painting depicts a woman seated in front portraiture against a layered background of dry brushwork featuring a palette of yellow, blue, orange and pink. An artist signature is seen to the lower left corner of the composition. Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992.
