An oil painting on paper board titled Dairy Queen & Gift Shop, Bar Harbor by well-listed artist Robert Herrmann (American, 1922-1996). Created in 1959, the Dairy Queen is depicted in a simplified and colorful manner. To the verso, the work is titled, signed, and dated. A descriptive label is also present to the verso. Presented in a wooden frame without glass.

Herrmann acquired his formal artistic and architectural training at the University of Cincinnati, University of Wisconsin, Ohio State University, University of Iowa, and Columbia University. While professionally trained, he chose to never exhibit his work publicly, making his first solo exhibit posthumous. He is known for his precisionist style and his paintings of architectural landscapes.
