Pair of Vintage Framed Hand Colored Lithographs
Item Details
A pairing of vintage hand colored lithographs after Neoclassical painter Angelica Kauffman (1741-1807). Each depicts a cherub scene within an outdoor landscape. ‘Angelica Kauffman Pt. and Bartoloxxi St.’ are printed to the lower corners. Each is housed behind glass in a taupe painted wood frame with wire verso for hanging.
Condition
- items are dirty; frames are scratched throughout; “Woman Lounging With Cherub” has a crack in the frame at the top; backing is held in place by tape and tape is peeling; center marks on backing.
