An oil on canvas pastoral landscape by Nicholson. The painting depicts A pair of figures in front of a windmill in a forested landscape with a lake in the foreground. It is signed to the lower left by the artist. The work is presented in an ornate molded gold tone frame. There are papers affixed to the back.
Condition
- stretcher marks; yellowing to varnish; missing molding to lower right corner of frame; many cracks to composite molding of frame.
